A Hustler’s Blueprint

Growing up in the Bronx, hustle isn't  a choice it's survival. Every corner had a story, every train ride a lesson. The dream wasn’t fame or clout it was nobody being able to tell me what to do and ultimately ownership. To create something that couldn’t be taken, shut down, or silenced by anyone else in any way.

Like many dreamers with ambition bigger than their budget, the journey started with trial and error. A few side hustles, a couple failed ventures that may or may not have been illegal, and then custom jeans. DIY style. Started from the bottom literally.

That was the spark.

Not Just a Brand — A Way Out

The first brand came with lessons. Good ones, hard ones. The kind that teach you how to price a product, how to source fabric, how to get burned and get back up. But something didn’t fully click.

Because it wasn’t just about selling clothes.

It was about representing the city the grind, the pain, the self discipline. The unshakable belief that if you worked for it, it was yours. 

The Birth of Something Real

That’s where the brand, KINGS OF NY was born.

Inspiration wasn’t some luxury photoshoot or celebrity endorsement. It was the corner store, the basketball court, the subway platform. It was the pressure of rent due, and the fire that comes when no one’s going to save you but yourself.

So we built a streetwear brand that means something.

• Inspiration for every underdog who’s still grinding.

Why We Built It

Because we’ve been broke.
Because we’ve been counted out.
Because we believed it was up to us from day one.

We never wanted to depend on investors or handouts. We didn’t wait for permission. We printed the first tees ourselves. Ran drops out of a living room. Built Shopify stores and watched 100s of YouTube tutorials. Shipped orders by hand. Made 100s of graphic designs through the night.

And now? This brand sells to people in places we’ve never even been.

But we’ll never forget where we’re from.
