Of the two, the Brooklyn bridge is far more interesting to walk on than the Manhattan Bridge and offers slightly better views. The network of steel ropes holding the weight of the bridge is also slightly different compared to conventional suspension bridges.

I would count it as one of the must-do things in NYC, not only for its unique architecture but also for its superb views. This shot was taken staring west upon the second tower.
